Installation Instructions for Hard Surfaces:

1.  Place rubber pavers at installation site at least 24 hours before installation to allow them to acclimate to prevent shrinkage or expansion of pavers after placement.

2.  Ensure the surface has a slight gradient to allow for proper water drainage.

3.  Clean surface with a mixture of 1 cup dish detergent to 1 gallon of water.  Apply solution to surface and scrub thoroughly.  Rinse with hose.

  • If installing on newly poured concrete, allow at least 28 days between the pour and installation to ensure the concrete is fully hardened.

  • If concrete or asphalt subsurface has cracks or holes, clear out debris and patch holes and cracks with mortar.  Allow 48 hours to dry before installation.

  • If concrete or asphalt subsurface is not even, use mortar to even out the surface.  Allow 48 hours to dry before installation.

4.  Start paver installation at a corner or against a wall or building.

5.  Apply adhesive with a 1/8" V-notch trowel or 1/8" beads with a caulking gun.  Press firmly to surface.  Use a utility knife to trim pavers as needed.  Allow to dry for 48 hours.

Installation Instructions for Granular Surfaces (grass, dirt, gravel, etc):

1.  Clear the area 5" deep.

2.  Level and compact the area with medium to course crushed gravel.

3.  Cover the area with sand no more than 1/4" thick.

4.  Install geotextile over the top of the subsurface.

5.  Set the pavers on the surface.  Do not use adhesives.
